Hi, I’m Maggie Stewart. I was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon metro area, the youngest of three sisters, and I come from a big, lively family—one of 28 first cousins on my mom’s side!
In my 20s, I spent most of my time in Kuwait, teaching kindergarten and first grade. Those years taught me patience, curiosity, and the value of giving every story attention—lessons that later shaped my approach to true crime.
During the Covid pandemic, I became hooked on true crime podcasts—and it struck me how many cases go unnoticed, slipping by without any media coverage at all. I knew I wanted to change that. So, while running oncology education conferences and teaching kickboxing, I also started this podcast.
Now, at 37, I live in Portland with my 1-year-old dog, Pippi. She’s as quirky and adventurous as her namesake, Pippi Longstocking, and the perfect companion on this journey.
